Recipe #2: Easy Pork Chops with Garlic Sauce

OK..so here is a great and relatively easy meal that I found on recipezaar. I found pork loin chops on sale this week at our grocery store, so I bought a bunch and served them this way for dinner. Later in the week I am going to take the leftover pork and make a pork fried rice or something. Basically, you season the pork chops with salt and pepper then dredge them in flour. Place them in hot olive oil and butter and fry them until they are golden brown on both sides. Take them out of the skillet and place on a plate. Then take some cream ( I used milk since I didn’t have any cream handy) and toss it in the skillet with garlic and deglaze the pan making a sauce. Pour over pork chops and serve!! Best part is that even the kids liked it!! I even got them to help me make the dinner by having them beat the pork chops with the mallet!! (They loved that)…I also had them cut some green onions from our garden to put in the sauce for a little onion flavor. Kids love helping with dinner and it sure beats listening to them whine while you are trying to cook!!
