I was tickled to see my and Dan Hanna’s book The Pout-Pout Fish included in your sea life lesson plan. Thanks! The ideas and activities you’ve provided for children to learn about life in the ocean are great.

If your readers are interested, there are some Pout-Pout activity sheets for kids over at my web site. Head to http://www.deborahdiesen.com/ and then click “downloads.” There’s a coloring sheet, some word puzzles, and even a foldable fortune-teller (aka a “cootie catcher.”

If you need any thing from me as in rhymes or stories, let me know, I am a writer.

What a wonderful thing you are doing to get kids involved in things natural and oceanic! Love-based, not fear-based ocean education is definitely the way to go : ]
