Life as a mom who has her hands full
OK—- so this recipe isn’t really a recipe as much as it is a combination! I started making this apple combination in an attempt to eat healthier. I began to find out that not only does it makes a great after school snack, it also makes a great breakfast, a great midnight snack, and a great treat for kids. Sometimes I even eat it as my lunch, especially when I pair it with a smoothie or small salad. Try it today for extra energy before your workout!!
1 medium apple cored and cut into small bite sized chunks
Granola or any dried health cereal of your choice, or even crushed nuts
Place apple peices in a bowl and drizzle with enough honey to coat. Sprinkle granola, chopped nuts or grapenuts cereal on top and mix together well.
