Childhood Obesity: How to Prevent it!

One in every 5 children in America is overweight—an absolutely startling statistic. Obesity is also one of the main causes of health problems in America, including Type II Diabetes. Heredity, poor nutrition, parenting, and fast food corporations are all reasons why childhood obesity has nearly tripled in the past two decades. So what can we as parents do to reverse the new trend and prevent childhood obesity? There are some great articles and resources out there to help us prevent our children from becoming obese. Even if you are not concerned about obesity, these websites offer great information on keeping your children healthy and active.

    you have raised a very serious issue and i think obesity is the root cause of many diseases.children love to roam and play but an obese child neither can play well and run so parents should be aware of this fact that their children should be healthy but not obese and they should take steps on these regard as the future of their child depends on them and their steps for the welfare of their child.
