Measles Outbreak fueled by Autism Scares!!

Once again, the MMR vaccine and autism are being linked. But this time, it is the other way around. Concerns that the MMR vaccine causes autism has prompted many parents to delay vaccinating their children. These children are put at risk for contracting measles and when too many children are not vaccinated, the end result is a measles outbreak..much like what we are seeing the last few months. There are more cases of measles in this country than ever before…the most in over 10 years! If you are a parent who is considering vaccinating your children, you need to know the truth. THERE IS NO LINK BETWEEN AUTISM AND THE MMR VACCINATION> THERE NEVER HAS BEEN!  The CDC, the Academy of Pediatrics and all pediatricians recommend getting the MMR vaccination and stand behind the truth that there is no link between the two. I’ve read most of Mr. Stobbe’s Associate Press article and I can see that it’s the same old stuff. He listens to what he’s told by health officials, and parrots back the same crap to reassure the public without asking one question and without interviewing one parent or scientist or doctor who believes that vaccines have been harmful.
Oh so measles cases are high are they? Guess what, I don’t care.
Ms. Fox writes, in her Reuter’s news story Vaccine refusals fuel measles outbreak, “In the decade before the measles vaccination program began, an estimated 3 to 4 million persons in the United States were infected each year. Of these, 400 to 500 died, 48,000 were hospitalized, and another 1,000 developed chronic disability from measles encephalitis.”
If you look at the total number of people who died or were chronically disabled, that’s a total of say 1500 people. A conservative estimate for the US population of one hundred million people in the mid nineteen hundreds put the rate of death or disability at one in sixty thousand.

While I do not believe that the incidence of full blown autism is anywhere near the one in one hundred and fifty number that is so often publicized by organizations such as Autism Speaks, (which , btw, does nothing to help families dealing with autism but whose only interest is in raising lots of money and then funding genetic research while covering the rear ends of those responsible for the environmental harm that’s being done, and oh yes, throwing lots of gala concerts and parties which the little children rarely attend), the rate of full blown autism is far and away above one in sixty thousand by anyone’s estimate.

And yet the American public is being told to fear measles, and not autism. And now, the American public is being told to fear those who’ve brought the vaccine travesty to light.

Pediatricians are frustrated, are they? Aw gee, frustrated that they aren’t being treated like the Gods they believe themselves to be, frustrated that parents actually have the unmitigated gall to expect answers to their very legitimate questions and concerns? Guess what. I don’t care.

Every time I hear about this story on the news I hear parents concerned about vaccine damage being painted as foolishly buying into ‘junk science’. There is never a mention of Hannah Poling, or any interviews with the many people such as Bernadine Healy, former head of the National Institute of Health, who believe the evidence for a link between vaccines and autism is strong. You want to know what junk science is? It’s when we’re told, over and over again on TV and radio, that the mercury has been removed from vaccines when anyone can look at the FDA’s own website (http://www.fda.gov/cber/vaccine/thimerosal.htm#t1 ) and see that there is still the same toxic level of mercury in the flu shots now being routinely advised for pregnant women and babies and children. Except that it’s not junk science, if the people propogating this misinformation know that what they’re saying is false. It is genocide.

I’ve had it up to here with these health officials and their scare tactics. My children, though all fully vaccinated, all came down with whooping cough. None of the Doctors we saw could even diagnose it, but some research on the internet revealed it for what it was—the sound is quite distinctive. Afraid of measles, afraid of whooping cough? Ha, I don’t think so. I’m not nearly as afraid of terrorists, even after 911, as I am my own government and the main stream media which seems to bring me no real news anymore, only propaganda.
